A cat helped PSP find a cannabis plantation in Faro, on Sunday afternoon. This “anonymous hero” has not yet been found and, therefore, the police publicly thanked him for his contribution to the operation using social media.
On the PSP's Facebook page, the security force says that "it was called to an occurrence in which a citizen heard an intense and insistent meowing of a cat, for several hours."
When looking for the animal, "the PSP ended up finding a cannabis plantation, which was seized in its entirety, as well as its owner arrested".
According to the police, “the property was vacant and the two police elements were forced to climb it, thus seeing the plantation on the ground.ration of another property'. The PSP Criminal Investigation Squad of Faro mounted a surveillance operation and a 57-year-old man was arrested.
The feline helper ended up not being found by the agents, but the PSP guarantees that it continues with «diligence in this regard» and left the «public thanks to this distinguished cat, with faro policeman".
