The TassJazz Festival starts today, June 27th, and runs until July 2nd, bringing the best of jazz back to Odemira.
On the first two nights, June 27th and 28th, at 18 pm and 00 pm, string and wind workshops will take place at Quintal da Música, in Odemira.
On June 29 and 30, also at Quintal da Música, combos will be presented by the Associação de Jazz e Não Só!, with performances starting at 21:30 pm.
On July 1st and 2nd, always at 21:30 pm, the jazz party will take place at Cerro do Peguinho, in Odemira, for two nights full of improvisation, color and good mood.
The Collective Tass Jazz Ensemble, an original production of the festival, and a show with António Faraò Trio, from Italy and one of the most respected jazz pianists, is the program for the night of Friday, July 1, at Cerro do Peguinho .
On the last night of the TassJazz Festival, Saturday, July 2, Cerro do Peguinho receives two great names in national jazz: Joana Machado Quinteto and Pedro Madaeno Sexteto.
Tassjazz will once again feature the participation of the artist Philippe Peseux, for a live painting performance simultaneously with the jazz shows, at Cerro do Peguinho.
In its 13th edition, TassJazz promotes quality nights, improvisation and party, with free entrances. This is a bet of the Municipality of Odemira to diversify and qualify the cultural offer of the region, which has conquered the public since the first edition.
