A 67-year-old man was arrested this Tuesday by the GNR on suspicion of drug trafficking, in Carvoeiro, in the municipality of Lagoa. In addition to hashish, the man had more than 2 euros with him.
The GNR military approached the man, on the public road, as they considered that he was showing "suspicious behavior".
After searching the alleged drug dealer, they discovered "66 doses of hash, two pocket knives, three mobile phones and 2210 euros", money that the GNR thinks is related to drug trafficking.
The detainee is currently being brought to court.
