Parkalgar Racing Team driver Miguel Oliveira was the fastest in qualifying for the 12 Hours of Portimão race, which takes place tomorrow. The pilot, after yesterday it fell, and not having participated in the 1st qualifying session, this morning, he got the fastest lap of the circuit. However, the Parkalgar team was penalized again with a fall, this time from the Frenchman Matthieu Lussiana and will start from 5th place on the starting grid.

In this morning's qualifying, the three riders from each team had to complete a timed practice session, and at the end, the table with the average of the three riders' times is sorted.

In addition to Miguel Oliveira being the fastest in his session, with 1'45,157, the pilot also managed the best time of the two days.

"The qualifying went very well, I had that showy fall yesterday, which left many sequels on the body, I wasn't expecting to be able to walk so well," he told reporters.

The pilot said he was "happy to run an international race in Portugal" and said he was "looking forward to tomorrow's race".

Another Portuguese driver from Parkalgar, Miguel Praia, did not go beyond the 17th best time in his session with 1m48,657s and the Frenchman Matthieu Lussiana managed the seventh best time (1m47,323s), before having crashed.
