Miguel Gameiro and Pólo Norte will take the stage Auditório Municipal de Lagoa next Saturday, May 14, at 21:30 pm for a concert that celebrates their 20-year career, in acoustic format.
The show is part of the 2016 National Acoustic Tour and, according to Câmara de Lagoa, which invited the band, sold out two coliseums and «went through the main stages of the country in 2015».
The band – which released its debut album in 1995, “Expedição” – has several hits, including “Lisboa”, “Aprende a ser Feliz” and “Deixa o Mundo Girar”, songs that will be highlighted in these celebrations of his 20th career anniversary.
Musician Miguel Gameiro will also present some of his solo singles such as “Dá me um Abraço”.
«“Miguel Gameiro & Pólo Norte Acústico – 20 Years” is, without a doubt, one of the most memorable concerts of that which was and is one of the most emblematic bands of Portuguese pop music», considers Câmara de Lagoa.
The show is for people over 6 years old, and tickets are on sale at Convento de S. José and Ticketline.
For the 4th of June, another concert is already scheduled for the Auditório Municipal de Lagoa with Teresa Salgueiro, ex-Madredeus.
