The «first big summer party in the Algarve» will have white and black as the colors of choice. The «Black & White Night» returns to liven up Carvoeiro on the 18th of June, with lots of music, but also street entertainment and other initiatives, between 20:30 and 3:00.
The beach square and the streets of the center of Carvoeiro will be prepared to offer five different scenarios, which will host eight music and dance shows throughout the night.
The kick-off for the party will be given at 20:45 by the group «El Laff», who will bring with them oriental music and dances. This is followed by a «Chill Out Sunset», between 21 pm and 00 pm, hosted by the LSD Living Statues DJ.
Between 21:50 pm and 23:00 pm, the Six Irish Men will make the audience dance to the sounds of iconic covers such as “Leaving of Liverpool”, “Toss the Feathers”, “Fisherman's Blues”, among others.
This is followed by the Greek multi-instrumentalist Spyros Kaniaris (former member of the group L'Ham de Foc), who will present two of the most expressive forms of traditional Greek music, “Dimotiki” and “Rembetika”, from 22:45, on Rua of the Barranco.
Shortly after, at 23 pm, but on stage at Largo da Praia do Carvoeiro, British singer-songwriter Daniel Kemish performs.
At midnight, there is a release of luminous balloons at Largo da Praia, an initiative that will open the mega dance floor that will be set up on the sandy beach, animated by DJ Pete Sleev.
At the same time, between 22:00 pm and 2:00 am, DJ Alex Ramos will animate Estrada do Farol with music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
The municipality of Lagos hopes to surpass the numbers of the 2015 edition, which attracted around 20 thousand people to Carvoeiro.
«Given the exponential growth of the public in the last edition and the lack of parking, the City Council decided to implement a regular line of buses to facilitate access to the event. The buses will circulate, free of charge and without interruption, between 20:00 and 03:30, to take the public to the Rampa do Solférias located at the entrance to Carvoeiro», according to Câmara de Lagoa.
