The GNR detained two alleged drug traffickers and seized a considerable amount of cocaine and hashish in an operation it carried out in Monchique on Tuesday.
The drug was discovered following two searches, one of them at home. In total, the soldiers of the GNR Criminal Investigation Nucleus of Portimão discovered drugs and other material related to drug trafficking, namely “379 doses of hashish, 150 doses of cocaine, 26 cannabis seeds, five doses of cannabis and three scales precision digitals'.
A laptop computer, a surveillance camera and 4179 euros were also seized.
The investigation that culminated in the arrests of the two men, aged 43 and 47, was directed by the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Portimão of the Public Ministry.
The detainees are being brought to court.
