Castro Marim is going back to walking for a good cause. The 2nd edition of “Caminhada Solidária” is scheduled for next Sunday, May 15, from 10:00 am. This year, the objective is to raise funds for the Oncological Association of the Algarve in the fight against cancer and support for cancer patients and their families.
The event is organized by the Castro Marim Schools Group, with the coordination of educator Fátima Valentim, from Room 1 of the Pre-school of this school institution. The walk has the collaboration of parents and students and the support of the City Council.
“And when steps become ties”, is the motto of this initiative, a route of approximately 3 km, departing from the José Guilhermino de Castro Marim Pavilion.
The walk is open to the general population, for the symbolic value of 2 loops. Interested parties can find more information at www.aectm.pt.
