Goat Parade (3) The “Cabra Parade” is already on the street and will pass through Tavira, São Brás de Alportel, Quarteira and Vila Real de Santo António. Aiming to enhance the Algarvian Breed Goat through its reproduction in fiberglass and creative decoration, the traveling exhibition "Cabra Parade" also promotes the fair "Terra de Maio", which takes place between the 20th and 22nd of May, in Castro Marim.

In 2009, the Castro Marim City Council, using a mold that reproduces the Algarvian Breed Goat, developed the examples in fiberglass, which have been decorated and interpreted by entities and artists in the region.

This year, the initiative was taken up by the visual artist David Mota, graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve, who, according to the municipality of Castro, «brought to the event's promotional image the realism of the Algarvian breed goat, clean of graphic elements, in a reference to the flocks».

The exhibition will pass by the Grand Plaza – Tavira (May 5th to 12th), by the Municipal Market of São Brás (May 5th to 12th), by Algarve Nature Week, in Quarteira (May 13th, 14th and 15th) , and by Praça Marquês de Pombal, in Vila Real de St. António (16th to 19th May).
