Real Madrid Foundation_VRSA School_1The Real Madrid Foundation's Vila Real de Santo António Sports School will host, between 3 and 5 July, the "Copa Alma", a tournament that brings together the teams and schools that stand out in the work of social and sports integration promoted by the Madrid emblem.

The Chamber of VRSA explains that «after Hungary and Spain, VRSA welcomes the third edition of the initiative that brings together schools that have best fulfilled the objectives defined by the merengue foundation, whose merit is already recognized throughout the world».

The football tournament will take place at the Vila Real de Santo António Sports Complex and will bring together dozens of young people - in mixed teams - aged between 12 and 13 years old, coming from various parts of Europe.

For Conceição Cabrita, vice-president of the Municipality of VRSA, «the organization of this meeting by our Sports Partner School is proof of the recognition of the good work developed in recent years, to which the municipality was associated from the first moment».

The municipality of Vila Real adds that “due to its good work, the Fundação Real Madrid's VRSA Socio Sports School was also invited by the emblem to pay a visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, taking into account the good practices and the excellent results achieved by the Portuguese school».

On this trip, «the young people from Vila Real fulfilled their dream of traveling to Madrid, where they carried out various practical activities with groups from the Foundation that train in various neighborhoods in the Spanish capital. At the same time, they attended two basketball matches of the junior and senior teams of the merengue club».

Vila Real de Santo António City Council says that «one of the highlights of the visit took place after the Spanish Euroleague basketball match, when several players such as Felipe Reyes, Sergio Llull and KC Rivers greeted the Portuguese youth and shared moments of conviviality ».
