The funeral vigil will take place from 16:00 pm, today, April 18, at the Church of São Luís, in Faro. The body will go tomorrow to the Elvas Cemetery.

Born in Lourenço Marques, Mozambique (where she was born on August 22, 1947), Lília Brinca was director of the Speech Therapy course at the Escola Superior de Saúde.

It was also the main driving force behind the creation of the Hearing and Speech Therapy Laboratory (LATF), which was named in 2015 in recognition of its work.

The LATF is a scientific-pedagogical complex, located on the University of Algarve's Gambelas Campus, which has been providing health services to the community since May 2010 through hearing and speech therapy tests.
