from eight to eightySeveral generations of inhabitants of Bordeira, in Faro, will take the stage of Sociedade Recreativa Bordeirense (SRB) to star in the theater play «From eight to eighty», which will have its premiere tomorrow, Saturday, at 21 pm, and may be seen in three other sessions, until end of the month.

On stage will be children, the youngest of whom is 8 years old, but also from Bordeaux with a lot of life experience, as one of the actors is 80 years old. A diversity that, together with the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the community, in 2016, inspired the name of the piece.

The more than 40 people who are part of this production, including the play's cast, props and technicians, are driven by a passion for amateur theater and have been preparing the show for about six months, under the baton of Eva Mendonça, president of the association.

The team has been coming together in the late afternoons to prepare the different sketches that make up this production, which will drink from the typical Portuguese magazine and intend to provide moments of good humor and humor to the audience.

The first showing is already tomorrow and, despite being a preview, it is open to anyone who wants to watch, although it is advisable to reserve in advance. The premiere takes place on Sunday, at 16 pm, and there are new sessions on April 00 and 23, at 24 pm and 21 pm, respectively. Tickets cost 00 euros for SRB and 16 euros for the rest of the audience.
