A man who was carrying cannabis in his car was surprised this morning by a GNR patrol in São Brás de Alportel, during a road inspection and detained on suspicion of drug trafficking.
In addition to two bags of this drug, hidden in the vehicle in which he was traveling, more was discovered in his house, including 9,4 kg of cannabis leaf.
The GNR also seized '20 cannabis plants, four under considerable vegetative development and 16 recently hatched, a cannabis germination plate, a ventilation and odor extraction system, various timers and lighting systems, a precision digital scale and several hermetic bags, products and manuals associated with the cultivation of cannabis, 90 euros in cash and a car»
According to the GNR, the 32-year-old man "manufactured and stored the narcotic in various rooms in the house." He is now being presented to the court of Loulé for the 1st Judicial Interrogation and the possible application of coercive measures.
