After the six regattas of the second of four days of the second stage of one of the most important sailing circuits in the world, the Portuguese team, eighth in Muscat, has 61 points, thanks to four second places, ending up behind Alinghi, who won two evidences.

The Oman Air team, winners at home in the first stage, follows in third place, with 53 points.

Sail Portugal_china_2In statements to the Sul Informação, Luís Brito highlighted the entry of «a new element on board, João Matos Rosa, which implied some adaptations in the maneuvers and, above all, a joint re-learning of all the processes».

Taking into account that, after their arrival in China, the team only did a single training session allowed by the organization of this circuit, the new team seems to be giving good results.
