Castro Marim will once again promote the “Baila Coração ao Som do Accordeão” initiative. This is a program of balls and accordion evenings, which will travel through various locations in the county until August. In total, there will be 13 animation evenings.
This initiative has, according to the municipality of Castro Marim, the «main objective of breaking the isolation of the populations of the interior of Castro Marim and contributing to their quality of life».
The poster includes singers and accordionists Sérgio Conceição, António Manuel, Filipe Romão, Silvino Campos, David Alves, José Gonçalves, Anabela Silva and the musical group “Mato Bravo”.
This is an initiative of the local population with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
«Providing active social interactions, moments of animation, relaxation and psychological relaxation, as well as promoting physical exercise», are the benefits of this initiative, according to Francisco Amaral, doctor and president of the Castro Marim City Council.
