CRESC Algarve 2020 (Algarve Regional Operational Programme) has already approved 33,3 million euros of investment in the area of Competitiveness and Science, until the end of March.
The amount of associated ERDF funds is 19,6 million euros and includes support for projects that promote the competitiveness of SMEs and their organizational and management capacity. It is also intended to promote an increase in exports and encourage the internationalization of companies.
By councils, Faro leads the investment, with 7,5 million euros, followed by Loulé, with 5,8 million euros, and Albufeira, with 3 million euros.
The Algarve Regional Operational Program is part of the Portugal 2020 partnership agreement.
