At the entrance, and as a prelude to the trip, customers are welcomed in the new bar in cocktails, where you can enjoy one of the award-winning creations. б resident, João Severino.

Given the welcome, it's time for a snack and two fingers chatting backstage with Hans Neuner himself – a kitchen like that, the dream of the Head and the team, has to be shared with the real protagonists of this new story: the customers.

Decorated in shades of sand and blue, the new dining room features handcrafted silk rugs, huge circular bronze lamps, the wall of African corals or the magnificent Murano crystals suspended in the hallway, evoking grace and wonder. mystery of the jellyfish.

On the left, the wine cellar divides the dining room from the Chef's Table and the kitchen. With wall-to-wall refrigerators as well as a remarkable collection of glasses and decanters Zalto, holds one of the largest private collections in vintage from the Iberian Peninsula, with more than 560 references, national and international, carefully selected by the sommelier resident Nelson Marreiros.

The Chef's Table – a unique piece in solid oak wood with more than 300 years, located in a privileged area of ​​the restaurant, facing the kitchen and overlooking the sea – is exclusive for up to six people.

In addition to a selection of dishes a la carte, the new tasting menu is also available, which respects the time of the products and the seasons of the year. It is also a tribute to the Portuguese Discoveries, the result of the research that Hans Neuner has been developing since he arrived in Portugal in 2007.

Os bouche amuses do Head, which became famous for their references to the popular recipes of the Algarve, are the perfect motto for what follows. «In each dish, much more than 'simple food', is the result of the consolidated work of research and experimentation of a curious and committed team; of direct and daily contact with small local producers, with people, their memories and historical and affective references», they stress.
