The Urban Regeneration Action Plan that the City Council developed for the Urban Rehabilitation Area (ARU) of Portimão, as well as the respective financial instruments, will be presented on Monday, March 14, at 16 pm, at the café concert of TIME, in that city.
The municipality emphasizes that the preparation of this Action Plan is an obligation that resulted from the approval of the ARU of Portimão, in March of last year, and embodies the «intervention strategy carried out for the area of the “historic center” of Portimão and which should be nominated by the municipality for the Portugal 2020 program, until 31 March».
In addition to the Plan, the Financial Instrument for Urban Rehabilitation (IFRU) will also be presented, which, in the future, private individuals will be able to use to finance urban interventions in the ARU area.
