Traditional folklores are once again at the center of the party, in Pechão, in another edition of the Folar Festival of the Clube Oriental de Pechão (COP), «the oldest event of its kind in the Algarve», which will take place on Sunday, 20 March , from 15 pm, at the multi-sport in this parish in the municipality of Olhão.
These typical cakes from the Easter period set the tone for an event in which you can also find other products produced in the Algarve, including some made in Pechão and Olhão, and handicrafts.
The spotlight will, of course, be focused on the nine Algarve folk producers, who, in addition to selling their products in their own stands, will also be the protagonists of a folklore competition.
The COP did not forget the animation component, which will be guaranteed by the ARPI Folklore Ranch Faro, by the Quelfes Ethnographic Group «Dança dos Velhos» and by the Movidance Group – Cultural and Recreational Association. There will also be a ball, hosted by Fábio Luís.
