The "Easter Fair" in Altura, where they can be found the traditional regional sweets and pastries, as well as handicrafts and local products, come back to animate this town of Castro Marim nthe 26th and 27th of March. The event will be installed next to the roundabout on Avenida 24 de Junho.
According to the Chamber of Castro Marim, this initiative aims to "encourage the promotion of regional products, while contributing to boost the local economy, affirming Castro Marim in the low season, when tourist demand in the municipality is lower".
From 15 pm onwards, the fair has some activities prepared for the youngest ones, such as workshops on follars, face painting and laser tag, «giving space to creativity, fantasy and lots of fun».
The program also includes musical animation. At 16 pm on the 00th, a Saturday, the musical group «Mato Bravo» takes to the stage. On Sunday, the group «Leões a Cantar o Alentejo» will be responsible for the animation.
The event is organized by the Parish Council of Altura, with the collaboration of the Chamber of Castro Marim.
