The Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) collected food, children's clothes and toys and donated them to the Homeless Support Center (CASA), to Cáritas Portuguesa and to Refúgio Aboim Ascensão.
The goods now delivered were collected during the first weekly ticket pre-sale of the Algarve Academic Week, which took place on the 2nd, and which also resulted from the reorganization of the AAUAlg Solidarity Store, located on the Campus de Gambelas.
The Department of Social Action and Solidarity of AAUAlg highlighted that this solidarity action, towards the three institutions, had a strong involvement of university students.
