The Flor de Sal project will present its first album on February 18th, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano. The concert is part of the regular section of the Cine-Teatro “Dos Sabores da Cultura”.
The Chamber of Loulé added that the show “will feature several special guests linked to music and dance, and there will also be a gathering bringing together musicians and the public, accompanied by gastronomic reasons, after the concert.
«Brought in the light of our reality, and inspired by this timeless landscape spread across the Algarve, the “Flor de Sal” project was born. Composed of light crystals, in the form of a reed, of extreme whiteness, this flower forms on the surface of the small parts of the salt pan», says the municipality about the project.
«Its great advantage is the flavor it arouses in food (instead of the tasteless refined salt), refining spices and refining pleasures. It is this world that inspires the duo composed of Zé Francisco and Ana Figueiras, who started their journey in 2014, having already performed several concerts in the Algarve and other parts of the country», adds the Chamber.
«Zé Francisco, assuming himself as a singer-songwriter and storyteller linked to the sea, his work, the nostalgia and love he inspires, is accompanied by the flutist Ana Figueiras, who, with her experience in the field of classical music and old, his talent and affection, contributes to a fresh and inspiring interpretation, not only of traditional Portuguese music, but also of this miscellany of flavors that result in the fusion of different genres of music from around the world», concludes Câmara de Loulé.
The event (concert and get-together) lasts approximately 120 minutes, has free entry and is aimed at people over 6 years of age.
