Professional valuation LagosThe good practice of the Câmara de Lagos «CML Positiva – Together we do (+)» was one of those chosen by the Directorate-General for Qualification of Workers in Public Functions – National Institute of Administration (INA), to be present at the show casing: Good Practices for Valuing People, a nationwide event organized by that entity.

Following the initiative, the methodology of the municipality of Lacobrigense was the 3rd most voted in the category "Leadership", one of the four existing, and was among the 15 most voted, in general terms, which means that those responsible will be able to present it in a session which will take place at the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, in Faro, on the 7th of April.

«This initiative, promoted by the employees of the Municipality of Lagos and “cherished” by the Executive, aimed at the development of activities in different areas, based on what each employee does best, on a personal or professional level. The aim was to give new impetus to the teams' motivation, promote the sharing of values, build a collective vision, strengthen the spirit of mutual help and appreciation», described the Câmara de Lagos.

This will be one of the many sessions that the institute will develop in different parts of the country, where «at least two of the most voted “good practices” will be presented, explained directly by their promoters, with the presence of a guest personality, to frame a theme around the theme of valuing people in the workplace».
The choice of projects to be presented was made by the public, who were invited to choose which of the 121 projects presented they would like to know in detail.

This INA initiative aims to «promote self-awareness in organizations, encouraging the improvement of interpersonal relationships and contributing to the verification of relevant practices in leadership and management, objectives and quality of work methods».

«This challenge was launched to all public bodies (central and local), inviting them to present a Successfully implemented Good Practice, integrated into one of four categories: Leadership, Internal Communication, Internal Cooperation between Organizations, Change and Building Trust» , added the Lacobrigense autarchy.
