Marcelo Rebelo de SousaIf the Algarve were the country, there would be a second round in these Presidential Elections. And that in the Algarve region, despite having won prominently, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa collected 47,62% of the votes, which would not be enough to win at first.

Marcelo, by the way, was the most voted in all municipalities, but with some variation: the highest vote was obtained in the municipality of Loulé, with 55,77% while the lowest vote was registered in Aljezur, where the teacher did not go beyond the 37,19%.

Loulé, Albufeira and São Brás de Alportel were even the only municipalities in the Algarve where Marcelo got more than half of the votes.

In second place was António Sampaio da Nóvoa in all municipalities, but in none it even reached 30%. Sampaio da Nóvoa's maximum was registered in Aljezur (28,25%), while the lowest vote was obtained in Albufeira (20,50%).
