IMAG is a Portuguese company, belonging to a family group with 100% national capital, and, with the attribution of this prize, it integrates a restricted group of Portuguese brands that stand out for their excellence in satisfaction, trust and innovative character. they have from their consumers. The prize will be awarded tomorrow, the 14th of January.

Founded in 2011, IMAG performs more than 200.000 diagnoses per year and currently has 12 diagnostic and therapeutic units throughout the country, and one hospital unit.

The group says that "new acquisition operations that consolidate the prominent position already conquered" by IMAG will soon be announced.

All of its healthcare facilities have a full satisfaction rate of over 95%. All of its units acquired until November 2015 are ISO 9001:2008 certified, and the certification of the other two recently acquired units is already planned by the end of the 1st quarter of 2016.

IMAG is part of the 4H group, which was based on Tecnifar, a reference for Portuguese companies in the area of ​​Health, founded in 1969 and with 100% national capital.

Tecnifar, a family business since its foundation, is already in the 3rd generation of employees and shareholders. In addition to the medicine area, it diversified its business areas and in recent years invested in the areas of diagnosis and imaging, consumer health and, in December 2014, it bought Hospital S. Gonçalo de Lagos.

The 4H group encompasses four business areas: Tecnifar, Tecnifar Consumer Health, IMAG and Hospital S. Gonçalo de Lagos. It employs more than 500 people, has a turnover of approximately 40 million euros and is present throughout the country.

The Five Star Award is open to all products and services available on the national market, aimed at consumers or professionals.

It is a certification based on the most complete, rigorous and flexible methodology on the market, which results from the assessment made by end consumers or professionals, in three situations: Assessment Committee; Experimentation Tests and Mass Evaluation Questionnaires. The tests are carried out by entities specialized in market studies, according to the SPICI methodology.

In this second edition of the Five Star Award, 235 products and services participated, organized into 94 consumer categories. The Five Star Award is a marketing certification that assesses, through tests and market studies, the decision to purchase or adhere to any product or service.
