The first phase of the improvement of streets in Foz de Odeleite is concluded. The work of the Castro Marim City Council covered about ten streets and was carried out by direct administration.
According to the municipality of Castromarinense, «the next phase concerns the improvement of the entrances to the village with asphalt mat, followed by a third and final phase, which includes the improvement of the typical pavement streets».
The Chamber explains that "the realization of this work is an old desire of the population of Foz de Odeleite, where many streets did not have any type of pavement".
The improvement of streets in the county is one of the concerns of the municipality and aims to “improve the mobility conditions for residents and facilitate transport access to villages”.
