The 13th round of the Algarve Football Association's District Football Championship brought news to the front of the table. Ferreiras, who was in the lead, lost to Quarteira (1-0) and Lagoa took advantage of the slip to return to first place, after beating Immortal de Albufeira (4-2).
The Lagoans have one less game, related to the 12th round, against 11 Esperanças, in Faro, which will be played on January 30th.
In third place in the classification follows the Armacenenses who won, in Faro: Faro and Benfica, for 1-2. Already the Moncarapachenses, returned to official matches in Moncarapacho with a victory, by 2-0, against 11 Esperanças.
The rout of the journey was applied by Silves who received and beat Monchiquense by expressive 7-2. At the bottom of the table follows Odiáxere, still without any victory.
