Focused on emotions, the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) campaign aims to «transmit the sensations and unforgettable moments that the destination provides not only to those who choose to enjoy their holidays, but also to those who choose it for the best end of the year. », as revealed by the RTA in a press release.

Designed in a more emotional tone, the campaign includes the activation of advertising in various communication channels – radio, press and digital – in the Portuguese and Spanish market, more specifically in the autonomous community of Andalusia.

The press advertisement will be published in Portuguese and Spanish newspapers and magazines, in a total of 63 entries, and is illustrated with an image of a group of friends, alluding to the Algarve as a destination that inspires good energy and positive emotions, in the company of whom more if you like.

The Algarve inspires (8)Our spots on the radio, the tone of the 10-second advertisement is one of enthusiasm and joy and invites you to unforgettable moments and unique flavors at the end-of-year party in the Algarve. In total, there will be 304 advertising insertions on national and Spanish radio stations.

The campaign also includes ads in digital media in both markets, resulting in greater coverage and impact through more than 5000 impressions in 33 online media and giving a more interactive character to the RTA campaign.

At the same time, guerrilla marketing actions are already taking place in strategic points in the cities of Lisbon and Porto, reinforcing the campaign with original street actions with a strong visual impact and viral effect, aimed at creating greater proximity and interaction with the public through of photographs with photo booth, animation flash mob with dancers and distribution of flyers promotional products.

«This campaign reinforces the promotion of the Algarve as a top holiday destination, but also for the end of the year, taking advantage of the wide range of entertainment offered by local authorities, hotels, casinos and restaurants at this time. The campaign focuses mainly on the large metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto and on the autonomous community of Andalusia, which has a total population of more than eight million», says the president of RTA, Desidério Silva.
