Portimonense was defeated 2-1 by Oliveirense, the last classified in the II League, in a game that was played this Sunday, at Municipal de Portimão.
The Algarve were even the first to score, but saw the opponent draw the match at the same time that they were reduced to ten, ending up giving away the three points in the final moments of the game.
The home team took the lead after 9 minutes, by Pires. On minute 52, the match referee signaled a penalty against Portimonense, showed Lucas the second yellow card, dictating his expulsion. Carlitos, called to score, did not forgive. The Algarvians were looking for the winning goal, but who ended up scoring was Oliveirense, by Rafa, in the 86th minute, in a counterattack move.
This was Portimonense's second consecutive home defeat and the third straight game without a win counting for the II Liga. The Algarve fell to seventh place in the II League, having been overtaken by Gil Vicente and Freamunde.
