Choreographer and Contramaré promote «performance-manifesto» against oil exploration in the Algarve

The choreographer Maurícia Barreira Neves, in partnership with Contramaré – Associação Cultural de Portimão, will promote on December 12th, Saturday, at 15 pm, in Praça Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão, the «retrÓleo», a «performance-manifesto» against the exploitation of hydrocarbons in the Algarve.  

This project of artistic intervention with the local community wants to «give the idea that both the use of oil and its exploration are behaviors that represent more of a setback than a real progress», emphasize the organizers.
