Algar will offer horticultural plants and organic compost to its employees and customers this Christmas, challenging them to create their own vegetable garden. Starting tomorrow, Monday, the facilities of the Algarve company will give this gift to those who travel to their facilities to deliver waste, and the measure will also be extended to Algar employees.
“The objective is to invite the people of the Algarve to cultivate a vegetable garden, which, in addition to being a great hobby, also brings economic benefits by providing cheaper and more flavorful vegetables,” according to Algar.
The compost to be offered is «Nutriverde», a product produced by Algar from green waste.
"It is a 100% natural organic compound that, in addition to not being aggressive and polluting for nature, brings numerous benefits to the soil, as it combats erosion and improves its physical, chemical and biological properties, etc," he described the company responsible for the collection and recovery of waste in the Algarve.
