The Ermida de Santa Ana, in Tavira, will stage a classical guitar recital by Josué Nunes, tomorrow, Saturday, at 18 pm.
The concert will play themes ranging from the baroque repertoire to contemporary music.
Josué Nunes was born in Tavira and carried out his first musical studies at the Regional Conservatory of Algarve Maria Campina. Later, he completed a degree in guitar at the Lisbon Superior School of Music, under the supervision of Piñero Nagy. In 2013, he obtained a master's degree in music education, guitar strand, by the Jean Piaget Institute.
He has participated in several master-classes (further training courses) and has performed solo and in various chamber music formations throughout the country and abroad, namely, at the Vienna Conservatory of Austria.
He was guest soloist at international guitar festivals, such as the 1st Festival of Classical Music in Tavira, the 6th International Guitar Festival S. Filipe Néri (Bologna – Italy) and Festival Med (2011 edition).
In 2009, the work “Ponte dos Lamentos” by composer André Santos was dedicated to him.
