Yesterday morning, the GNR in Silves seized 230 daily doses of hashish and 9 grams of dried cannabis leaves in house searches carried out in São Bartolomeu de Messines. Two men, aged 21 and 25, were constituted as defendants and are subject to an Identity and Residence Term for drug trafficking.
The operation was carried out by the NIC, which had an ongoing investigation “which culminated in the execution of search warrants at the residences of those targeted.
In addition to the drug, the GNR seized four mobile phones, a pocketknife, a kitchen knife and a roll of film.
The operation also had the collaboration of a binomial from the Intervention Detachment.
