wood ocean race_1The duo in mixed SS2 Miguel Amador and Maria de Deus, from Clube Náutico de Milfontes, was crowned surfski national champion at the National Sea Championship at the weekend, in Madeira.

Miguel and Maria finished the race, played on Saturday, between Calheta beach and Ribeira Brava, for a total of 12 kilometers, in 2nd place, right after their teammates, the duo in mixed SS2 Sérgio Jesus and Ana Brito , which were the first.

With the results obtained in the six competitions of this Championship, the duo Miguel and Maria ended up being the national champion of this aspect of canoeing.

A Ocean Race Wood, sixth and final stage of the National Sea Championship, was held on the island of Madeira, between 9 and 11 October.

wood ocean race_2In this test, other athletes from Clube Náutico de Milfontes were also successful, as Gonçalo Gamito and Diogo Patrício, in SS2 Júnior, were in 3rd place on the first day, and on the second day they climbed to the highest place on the podium, reaching 1st position .
