The Ferragudo Christmas Fair, Artenata, is scheduled for the 5th and 6th of December, at Largo Rainha D. Leonor. For this edition, which will be the 11th, the organization plans to bring together fifty exhibitors and the possibility of having an equine exhibition is being prepared.
According to the Parish Council of Ferragudo, «the Fair is intended for all people who are dedicated, full-time or partially, to any type of production of handcrafted, artistic or decorative arts, resident or natural in the Algarve, whose products contribute to the qualitative improvement of the event and to the affirmation of the work of each participant with the public and respective market segment».
The possible equine exhibition is not the only novelty to be prepared, craft workshops and the possibility for artisans to install themselves free of charge in other arteries of the Vila towards the current maritime commitment, where an exhibition of cribs will be present, are also in the equation.
The event will also feature spaces where, according to the organization, visitors “will be able to taste the typical sweets of the season and of the Algarve and wines and liqueurs from the region”.
The fair will open at 10:00 am on December 5th, Saturday, and end at 19:00 pm on Sunday. The fair has the support of the Câmara de Lagoa.
