The “Training Voucher” measure, which will provide support to unemployed people and employees of companies who attend training courses, is already in force.
The application period for this incentive of the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training has already been opened and interested parties can apply through the Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region (ACRAL), which undertakes to help those interested in preparing and submission of the application, whether "active employed, unemployed or employing entities".
Are eligible «active employed persons, aged 16 or over, regardless of their level of qualification, and unemployed persons, enrolled in the IEFP for at least 90 consecutive days, holders of level 3 to 6 qualification (from secondary education to degree)”, ACRAL revealed in a press release.
For those who have a job, the training actions will have a maximum duration of 50 hours, over a period of two years, and a support of 4 euros per hour, up to a maximum amount of 175 euros.
As for the unemployed, whose training actions will have a maximum duration of 150 hours, also in a two-year period, they have a financial support corresponding to the total value of the training action, up to a maximum amount of 500 euros.
"ACRAL urges its members to take advantage of this opportunity, not only to promote the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills of its employees, but also to ensure compliance with the legal provisions in terms of professional training (35 hours/year/worker )”, challenged the business association.
