The University of Algarve, the Altimetria Sports Association and the Municipality of Faro promote the Faro Campus Trail, which will take place on the 27th of September, departing at 10:00 am, in front of the Gambelas Campus Library.
Inserted in the event Faro Active, this Trail has as its main objective the promotion of sports and rail running in the Algarve.
Divided into two modalities, a 20 km Trail and a 10 km Mini-Trail/Walk, this initiative will take its participants to walk through the various spaces of the Campus de Gambelas, as well as the adjacent forests, namely Mata do Pontal and Ludo's Kill.
Although the route of the race does not include many ups and downs, the floor of this Trail will not give the participants rest.
Enrollments can be made online, and UAlg students can benefit from a discount if they present their student card when collecting the dorsal.
20% of the revenues revert to the Algarve Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Diminished Children (AAPCDM).
