The show «Simone de Oliveira and 3 Marias», in a fusion of “Intimacies” and “Bipolar” that, in musical complicity, bring together two different generations, will be on stage at the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa, on October 17th, at 21 pm .
In “Intimidades”, Simone de Oliveira interprets, with passion, love, soul and heart, some successes of Portuguese light music. “Bipolar” is a sharing of musical intimacy, with a serious side but also with a lot of humor and good mood.
The «3 Marias» project was born in 2008, in Porto – a fusion of tango, flamenco, ballad and a little bit of the fado concept – having edited the first work in 2009, “Almost the first time”.
The «3 Marias» have already performed in world music festivals, as well as in several concert halls in Portugal and abroad. Their second album, “Bipolar”, was recorded in September 2013.
In a generational meeting where sharing, feelings and experiences intersect, the «3 Marias» invited Simone de Oliveira to sing a version of “No Teu Poema”, by José Luís Tinoco and popularized by Carlos do Carmo, in 1976, at the Festival da Song.
The partnership went so well that Simone recorded the song with "3 Marias", the album having been recently re-released with this bonus track.
The chemistry between Simone and the “Marias” (Cristina Bacelar, on voice, guitar, lyrics and composition, Fátima Santos, on accordion, and Ianina Khmelik, on violin) worked so well that the singer has been a regular guest in the group's shows, as will happen in Lagoa.
The «3 Marias» have several concerts scheduled and are working on the next album that, among classical music, rock and other sounds, will bring great news.
