This Sunday, Portimonense drew XNUMX-XNUMX with Sporting's B team, in a game counting for the fifth round of the II League, played at Academia Leonina, in Alcochete.
The Algarve were the first to score, in the 25th minute, through Mamadu Cande, but the Sporting team managed to balance the result, right at the beginning of the second half, by Matheus (47 minutes). On 71 minutes, Bruno Paulista, from Sporting, was sent off for accumulation of yellow cards, but Portimonense couldn't score more goals, despite having created several opportunities.
Portimonense now has 5 points in the II Liga, but has one game less than most of their opponents.
