The Alameda Children's Park, in Portimão, will receive a shading structure. The Parish Council of Portimão announced that the works began today.
In addition to building the shading structure, the park will also be renovated with the replacement of damaged equipment.
According to the Parish Council of Portimão, «this space is frequented by dozens of people of all ages on a daily basis, being less used in summer due to the hot hours», so the municipality, «being attentive to the needs of its citizens, sought to provide this equipment with better conditions, thus starting this work».
The work has a partnership with the Montagu-Bivar Foundation.
