The Levante Nights will liven up the riverside area of Olhão from the 18th to the 25th of August. Every day, starting at 22 pm, there will be music, theater, dance or street art shows.
Among the names that will be present at the Levante Nights are Jazzafari, Teatro do Mar, Farra Fanfarra or actor and musician Alexandre Lopes.
The Lendas Market is scheduled for the 22nd, from 18 pm to midnight, in the Historic District of Barreta, where, according to the Chamber of Olhão, "there will also be a lot of music, theater, dance and the sale of traditional and manufactured products".
The municipality of Olhanense adds that on the «First Night of Levante – name that finds its justification for being held in one of the historic areas of downtown Olhão with that name but also for the association with the sea so close there – it starts with a pirate invasion and juggling of fire".
