A chance meeting at the door of the See between three poets, Axilbîa (the Silvense), Ibn Badrûn al-Hadramî and Abdalá ibn Wazîr, serves as a pretext for a satirical critique of the decadent state of society, a prelude to the end of Islamic rule in the Gharb Alandalus .
