Ethnic art 2015The Marginal Avenue of Monte Gordo will receive, between August 20th and 23rd, the II edition of Etniarte – Ethnic Market & Music of the World. 

According to the Vila Real de Santo António City Council, the «event promotes and promotes traditional popular manifestations such as handicraft, gastronomy and, in particular, world music».

Over 4 days, at 22 pm, Monte Gordo will host musical shows featuring artists from countries such as Madagascar (Kilema) or England (Daniel Kemish). Portuguese music will be represented by Zé Francisco (Marenostrum) and by Teresa Viola's fados.

With regard to handicrafts, 50 artisans from Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria will be represented.

"Etniarte is an event where merchants from various cultures and religions live in harmony and show the public their arts and traditions", adds the VRSA municipality
.

Etniarte can be visited between 17:00 and 00:00 and is a joint organization of the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António and Ibérica – Events and Shows.
