Museum of Portimão DRThe Museum of Portimão and the Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes will have extended opening hours, during the summer, to «better serve all those who wish to visit and enjoy the services provided in the municipality».

The Portimão Museum, one of the most awarded in the country, will be open on Tuesdays, from 19:30 pm to 23:15 pm, from Wednesday to Sunday, from 23:15 pm to 19:XNUMX pm, and on Saturdays, from XNUMX:XNUMX pm to XNUMX:XNUMX pm.

This cultural space, located in the former Fábrica de Conservas Feu, has industrial, naval, archaeological, ethnographic, underwater and documental/photographic archives.

«Portimão – Territory and Identity», «Barbearia Poesia Fotografia», «A Dip in the Underwater Park of Portimão – Ocean Revival» and «Mundos Novos» are the exhibitions that are currently on display in this Museum. Admission is free.

Manuel Teixeira Gomes DR HouseCasa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, where the illustrious writer from Portimo and President of the Republic lived, will be open to the public from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 22 pm and on Saturdays from 16 pm to 22 pm.

The space combines a multipurpose room, a documentary background and regularly promotes cultural and artistic activities.
