This Saturday, August 8th, the Castro-Marine locality of Altura will once again host the Ethnographic Meeting Amendoeiras em Flor, which will bring together folklore groups from different regions of the country.
In the second edition of the event, in addition to the host Ethnographic Group Amendoeiras em Flor, from Castro Marim, will be present the groups Rancho Folclórica da Casa do Povo in São Miguel do Rio Torto, from Abrantes, and Rancho Folclórico 5 Estrelas de Abril, from Grândola.
The event begins with a parade of participating groups along Rua da Alagoa, the busiest in Altura. This is followed by the performances of folklore groups, starting at 21:30 pm.
The initiative is organized by the Associação Cultural Amendoeiras em Flor, in collaboration with the Câmara Municipal de Castro Marim and the Altura Parish Council.
