Praia do Cabeço, on the coast of Castro Marim, will have a new attraction, an inflatable water park, whose installation should be completed this week.
With a capacity for 70 people, the inflatable water park at Praia do Cabeço will have approximately 800 square meters, 25 inflatable modules and the possibility to try 15 different activities on board.
In order to ensure comfortable and hazard-free use, the park has three lifeguards to ensure permanent surveillance inside and accessing the park, as well as a watchtower and access corridor. On the other hand, all users must wear a life jacket.
Castro Marim City Council, in collaboration with Aquafun Water Parks, will guarantee vouchers offer to all families residing in Castro Marim, under conditions that will be announced later.
The park is located next to the Recreational Support of UB4 East of Praia do Cabeço, in front of the bathing support “Sombra e Água Fresca”, and will be open until the 15th of September.
“This is an initiative that enhances our beaches, namely Cabeço and later Altura. With the achievement of the Blue Flag and Accessible Beach Flag awards, distinctive quality brands, and initiatives such as the informal performance of Banda Musical Castromarinense in the sands and the placement of automatic external defibrillators, which we will now put in place to help with any cardiac arrest, we have increased the competitiveness of our beaches on a large scale”, said Francisco Amaral, mayor of Castro Marim.
