From July 15th, Wednesdays in Alcoutim will be dedicated to music. The “Música na Praça” project will take a different group to the village every Wednesday, until August 26, to liven up the summer nights in Praça da República.
For the 15th of July, a dance show with the group “All Dance” is scheduled. The following week, the 22nd, will be the Orquestra Clássica do Sul to perform. On the last Wednesday of July, the leading role is given to Cante Alentejano with the groups “Os Alentejanos” and “Vizinhos do Alentejo”.
On August 5th, the band “Ocover.comE” will “travel” through Pop music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The Afro-Brazilian music of “Pau de Cabinda” takes the stage on August 12th.
Then, on the 19th of the same month, Fado arrived with the performance of Filipa Sousa and César Matoso. “Música na Praça” ends on August 26 with traditional Portuguese music by Flôr de Sal.
