An outdoor gym, with a fitness area and street workout, will be installed in the riverside area of Olhão, starting this Sunday.
The City Council will make use of the space in front of the local recreational port and create this infrastructure, installing an area to practice these sports and a two-kilometre walking and running circuit, located next to the Ria Formosa.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the first day of use of the new space, there will be an exhibition/demonstration of street workout carried out by lovers of this modality (local and regional).
«The city of Olhão gains, with this Outdoor Gym, an added value, opening a new sporting scenario combined with the beauty of the place and the route that supports it, which will bring many people from Olhão closer to the natural wonder that is the Ria Formosa» , considered the Chamber of Olhão, in a press release.
