The alert for the accident was given at 10:20 am, as he revealed to the Sul Informação a source from the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS).
The worker's body, a 40-year-old man, an employee of the «Setronix» company, was rescued by a team of the Vila do Bispo Firefighters, using a vehicle with a Magirus ladder.
The CDOS source indicated that when he was removed from the antenna where he was held, the man was already dead, having suffered "impact trauma".
There were six vehicles from Vila do Bispo Firefighters, one from Lagos Firefighters, as well as INEM, GNR and Maritime Authority resources.
