The Church of the Cathedral, in Faro, lit up again and told stories to the hundreds of people who visited Vila-Adentro on Saturday night. In the tower, they “played” Pac-Man or Super Mário, traveled through history and saw, for example, what the façade of the Igreja da Sé would look like if it were lined with tiles.

this festival of videomapping, which closed another edition of the Algarve Design Meeting, awarded prizes to the best works. genesis, by Pawel Ratajczyk, took first place, time Machine, by Andreia Arrais, Eduardo Martins, Haile Pimenta, Jessica Guerreiro, João Rodrigues and Vlad Shvedchikov, was in second place, and dream, by Jana Surovicova as well as Inside Out, Daniel Caldeira and Tiago Ferreira, shared the third prize.

The projected works were made by students from the Communication Design and Animated Image course at the University of Algarve-ESEC and by students from the Faculty of Communication and Multimedia, at the University of Tomas Bata, in the Czech Republic.

The fifth edition of this initiative was organized by the Department of Communication, Arts and Design of the University of Algarve-ESEC and AND – National Association of Designers.
